My new logo is here!
After many moons of working with a couple of different designers, I am finally able to share with you my new logo. I have been wanting to brand my website and cards that I create with a simple clean logo and think we have a winner here! Check them out below and tell me what you think!
I love the soft color of the water color background and the simple lines around the words. I can't wait to start implementing these logos in my strategic marketing plan.
My journey to develop this logo was a long one. I had decided to go with a local design company and for several months we went back and forth on a design and ultimately the designer who had been working on my particular job left the company so more delays and a different designer came on board. In the end, we just were not seeing the same vision, so I had just resigned myself to start over with a new designer.

Finding a New Graphic Designer
I had used a website called Fiverr.com before on other projects like copywriting, but never for graphic design. I wasn't sure if working remotely with a designer would work for me (even though that is exactly how I was working with the local designer, over email) but I decided to give it a try. So I looked on Fiverr.com and did a search for “Feminine Logo” and a ton of results came back. From there I searched different designers and looked at their examples they provided. I was looking for a watercolor background with scripty (is that a word?) fonts and found this designer and I loved her/his (I'm not sure if the designer is a male or female) work. And the best part of it was that it only cost me $35!
Getting my new logo is just part of my blogging journey. You can read here where I explain how I got to this point. I've gotten a lot of requests from other crafters to show them how I set up my craft blog and how they could do the same. I'm working on a blogging email series and am looking for beta testers. If you are interested in learning more about how to build a craft blog fill out the form below and I'll get you on the list to get a sneak peak.
