  10. funloving1978 on November 26, 2019 at 11:18 am

Cool card. Love the colour. I haven’t tried glimmer pastes yet but might have to invest in some.

Christmas in our household is all about family with gingerbread men and trifle.

  11. Sharon Gullikson on November 26, 2019 at 11:49 am

The simple JOY TO THE WORLD message is perfect. I keep saying that I would love to have an old fashioned christmas….hand made gifts like they did on Little House on the Prairie. The message of Jesus’ birth doesn’t get lost.

  12. Connie on November 26, 2019 at 12:22 pm

    that’s a really pretty card

  13. Mary Holshouser on November 26, 2019 at 12:49 pm

Your card sooo embodies Christmas. Love the card and the techniques you shared. So creative and inspiring. Favorite holiday memories are Midnight Mass, husband playing Santa for 42 years, and the lights.

  19. Shirley Desrochers on November 26, 2019 at 3:36 pm

You used my two favourite things, heat embossing and glitter!

  22. Cheryl Wolf on November 26, 2019 at 4:36 pm

Love your card! I’ve never used the glimmer paste, so very educational. My favorite Christmas tradition is when the family gathers for Christmas Eve.

  23. Isabel Z on November 26, 2019 at 4:46 pm

I am SO excited for this hop as I get inspired to create. Thank you. My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree with my family. In my excitement, I can’t remember if I commented so please delete this if I did–so sorry.

  25. Pat Miller on November 26, 2019 at 5:50 pm

Thanks for the tip about double-sided tape and glitter. Such drama!

  26. Cindy Thick on November 26, 2019 at 5:59 pm

I like the green glimmer paste on the card front. So beautiful with the red green and gold. A favorite tradition is putting an ornament with the kids and grandkids names on them on our tree. The grandkids love looking for their ornament on the tree.

  27. Cheryl Wingate on November 26, 2019 at 6:53 pm

Very pretty card, and I really like what you did with the Joy stamp. I may have to get that one!

I love this bright sparkly card! What a great design! I love making Christmas cards each H year for my family & friends!

  34. Corrie Hanson on November 27, 2019 at 8:42 am

I love this technique! I really need to get that Stamp set! Already have the sparkle dust! I really want to try this! Christmas for me is filled with so many memories. My favorite memory is being with my Grama and seeing what color her tree was each year … either traditional (multi color w/ silver icicles), or a Chrismon tree with white/gold ornaments (all of which were hand-made). This will be our 2nd Christmas without her. I would give anything to see her tree again (she was 102 the last time she put her tree up … She would have been 104 on Dec. 3rd.) I miss her and all her traditions!

  35. Wanda S Radler on November 27, 2019 at 10:56 am

I love this card – the touch of green is beautiful. One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to go the National Mall and see the National Christmas tree and walk around all the little state trees and say which states we’ve been too.

  36. Mary Gork on November 27, 2019 at 11:00 am

I really love the bold colors & of course the Sparkle! Beautiful!

    What a great card!

  39. Catie Palmer on November 27, 2019 at 4:11 pm

Great card. Thanks for sharing. As a British ex-apt, even though we’ve been in the US for 30 years, we still like to follow English holiday traditions and menus. We often eat the same things our parents served us. My grandparents grew up in a time when citrus fruit was a special treat and they often received an orange at Christmas. I carry on with my own twist on that by placing a Terry’s chocolate orange in the bottom of everyone’s stockings. Even holiday guests get one!

  40. Sandy M on November 27, 2019 at 5:21 pm

This is a lovely design. Reminds me of all the glitter we used to decorate our parents’ cards, which we made at school…

  41. Dana M on November 27, 2019 at 5:30 pm

  42. Eva on November 27, 2019 at 9:38 pm

Now I see how to use glitter. Stunning card. I love to go listen to the children choir do Christmas songs. Sometimes I go by myself if no one else can go.

  47. Denise Bryant on November 28, 2019 at 1:03 am

Love the pretty sentiment and all that sparkle! Beautiful card!
Helping my Mom decorate her tree each year was always a really special time! The one I remember the most was a shorter white tree we set up on a low table. We decorated in in all gold and white, with just a touch of red! It was so elegant!

  48. Brenda H. on November 28, 2019 at 7:34 am

Lovely card and of course the glimmer paste makes it pop! Sparkle and shine is how I like my holidays!
