Spoiler Alert
As you probably know, one of my favorite parts of unboxing my monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit is to do it on video. So you get to see it as I see it for the first time. It's hard not to see spoilers of other people doing their unboxing, so this time of the month I have to be careful of what I am viewing on social media…. which is sometimes difficult. But I love the anticipation and that feeling of glee when I get to open something so pretty!
And this month is no exception. The Birds of a Feather Pumpkin Paper kit has 8 beautiful floral cards to make. I love the beautiful coordinating envelopes with the pattern liner.
So for those of you who don't know, Paper Pumpkin, is a subscription craft kit offered by Stampin' Up! on a monthly basis. The items in the kit are exclusive and you must be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to get the kit. The stampsets and most of the items included can not be purchased from the catalog.
Everything You Need in the Birds of Feather Paper Pumpkin Kit
The kit comes with everything you need to make the projects! And your first Paper Pumpkin kit will also have an acrylic block that you will use with all future kits you receive. It always comes with the unique stampset as well as an inkspot, glue dots, and all of the remaining items needed to make the project. You never know what is going to come in the kit. Sometimes you make cards. Other times you make gifts or home decor. Its a surprise each and every month!
And probably one of the coolest things about Paper Pumpkin is that it color coordinates with our Stampin' Up! color families. In your instruction guide on the back, you will find what colors are used in the kit so if you want to make alternative projects using some of the Stampin' Up! product you have in your stash you can! I have a whole Pinterest Board devoted to alternative projects!
Whats coming up in Sept?
In our October kit, we got a flyer that gives us a hint to whats coming up in November. And I'll share a secret… I've heard we are getting 10 beautiful Christmas cards to make! Be sure to purchase or subscribe to your November kit BEFORE November 10th.
I also know the colors that will be featured in September's project if you wanted to stock up on coordinating inks, paper and embellishments before the kit comes around!

There are several ways to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin. The easiest way is have a monthly subscription, where you are automatically debited each month from your credit card. You can go to my Paper Pumpkin website here to subscribe. The fee to subscribe monthly is $19.95 and you can quit at anytime. You just need to pause or cancel your subscription before the 10th of the month.
You can also purchase a pre-paid subscription. There are prepaid subscriptions available for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. Subscribing this way is that you get a discount. The more months you prepay a subscription the more you save. Buy a 12 month subscription… you pay for 11 months and get one month free!
